Former Liverpool midfielder Didi Hamann has spoken on Arsenal chances of winning the title.

The Gunners have gone unbeaten in 12 straight midweek top-flight games as they head into the clash with Brentford this week as Premier League leaders.

Arsenal are still 3 points clear despite Manchester City beating Fulham on Wednesday night, and will be aiming to extend that lead to 6 points once again with a victory over The Bees.

Manager Mikel Arteta and his side have been dominant this season and are clear favourites to go on and win the title.

However, speaking to Thunderpick.io, Hamann suggested that the side may not have the experience to go all the way.

"For the Arsenal players, they haven't been Premier League champions. And unless you do it, you don't know you're capable of doing it. So, I think there will be a few edgy moments.

"But I think they probably watched Man City beat Liverpool, I think it would have been a huge blow to them, but it makes a big difference to go from losing the game to winning it in four or five minutes. Yeah, I think it's far from over. I don't think City are great.

"It's not the City we used to see, but they find a way of winning games, and they know how to win the league. They know how to win titles because they've got some Premier League winners in the ranks. Yeah, I think it's game on."

Arsenal are on course to lift the Premier League trophy for the first time in 22 years under Arteta in what would be a historic moment for the side that may not be as certain as many pundits believe.
