ESPN says an agreement has been struck which will see Wells named new head coach of Colorado Rapids.

The 37 year-old will succeed Chris Armas, who is leaving the Rapids as his deal expires this month. Talks over a new deal between management and Armas have collapsed.
Wells, after time spent inside Tottenham's academy, returned to the club in 2023 and stayed on when former manager Ange Postecoglou departed last season.
The Rapids have made just one playoff appearance in the last four campaigns.
