The versatile player, who can operate in defence or midfield, joined the Cherries as a scholar in summer 2023 from Charlton Athletic, where he had been since the age of 14.

He gained experience in fixtures against teams such as Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League Cup.
William impressed for Bournemouth’s under-18s with one goal and four assists, helping them finish fifth in the Professional Development League.
