Hato already has over 100 appearances at club level despite been just 19-year-old but could now be set to leave his boyhood club.
The report adds that Hato is expected to leave Ajax this summer for a fee of £40 million, although the club are currently demanding £60 million.
Chelsea aren’t the only Premier League club interested, however, with Liverpool also understood to be keeping tabs on the situation and Arsenal previously linked.
