Chelsea due tidy windfall from loan fees

The Blues are determined to avoid any punishment from the Premier League due to financial losses.

According to The Athletic, they are set to claim a windfall through a few sales of players.

One of the ways they are making money is through current transfer deals that have additional payments tied to them.

The club is bringing in around £14 million from add-ons in loan and permanent transfer deals.

These deals include the one that took Kepa Arrizabalaga to Real Madrid on loan.

There is also a further payment from the Eden Hazard transfer to the Bernabeu club.
