Journalist Simon Phillips reports via his Substack, that Chelsea held talks with the 27-year-old’s representatives over a move to Stamford Bridge.

The report adds that Chelsea are yet to make contact with Crystal Palace, they are simply seeing if Eze would be open to the move.
It’s understood the England international has a £65 million release clause in his contract at Selhurst Park, a fee that Enzo Maresca’s side would be willing to pay should they get the green light.
Eze remains a target for Premier League rivals Arsenal, with The Sun report that German giants Bayern Munich are also interested.
