The 17 year-old has featured twice for Burnley's U21s this season.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Connor Edwards has penned a new deal to 2028.

Edwards has been called up to the England U19 squad this season. He said: “I’m over the moon; it’s been a dream of mine since I was a little boy playing football in the back garden with my brother.

“It’s a proud moment for my family too, especially being at a club like Burnley.

“I’m fortunate enough to be in and around the first team environment every day and that’s been great for my learning.

“We had a great season overall with the U18s last season too, and hopefully I can keep improving.”
