Johnson joined in 2023 and cemented his place in history with the winning goal against Manchester United in the Europa League final season.
According to a report from The Telegraph earlier this week and the BBC on Thursday afternoon, Palace are eyeing a move in the January transfer window to steal Johnson away from North London.
The 24-year-old right-winger was involved in 51 matches last season, and he finished with an impressive tally of 18 goals and seven assists.
Palace boss Oliver Glasner is said to be keen to replace Ismaïla Sarr who is set to represent Senegal at the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco over the next month, and Johnson is reportedly his top target.
Johnson has racked up fewer than 900 minutes of first-team action under Spurs boss Thomas Frank this season, and the reintroduction of Dominic Solanke into the side over the next month won’t help his place in the side.
The Wales international could become one of Palace’s new attacking options in less than a month’s time, in a move which would be a huge boost for Glasner and his side. With the Europa Conference League also to play for, rotation is key, and Johnson could well be part of Glasner's thoughts in the coming weeks.
