The Sun claims that the Spanish giants are hoping to secure Aguerd in a £20 million-plus deal.
The defender has been with the Hammers since 2022, when he arrived from Ligue 1 side Rennes.
He is also wanted by the French team, but Aguerd wants to experience a new challenge.
He managed 58 games for the Hammers in two seasons, helping them with the Europa Conference League in 2022/2023.
