Agent cools FC Copenhagen talk for Newcastle defender Krafth

Off contract in June, it's been suggested FCK will make a move to ferry Krafth away from Newcastle over the New Year, with the Danes counting on a free transfer being granted.

But a representative of the Swede told FotbolDirekt: ”It's not relevant. FCK is a great club, but his salary is far too high for any club in Scandinavia.

“But then it's also about Newcastle not wanting to let him go.”

Krafth is said to be unwilling to sacrifice the final six months of his £55,000-a-week Toon deal.
