'Valde' started at the back for the 2-1 win and impressed on the night.
He told Real Madrid TV afterwards: "This is a dream, the dream of any child since they start playing football. Today I was able to fulfill it. Everything I feel is indescribable and I am extremely happy.
"At first, I won't lie, I was nervous, but thanks to all my teammates, the help of the captains, all the words they said to me calmed me down and I was able to do what I know how to do."
Valde had his shirt signed by all his Real teammates after the victory.
He added, "It's not every day you make your debut for Real Madrid and start. I was a little nervous, but I handled it well thanks to everyone, and I'm very happy. I'm going to frame this shirt and hang it in my room so I can see it every day and remember today."
