Vlachodimos joined Sevilla on-loan for the season and has quickly settled in Spain.
With Newcastle, the Greece international has a deal to 2028.
Estadio Deportivo says Vlachodimos has already confided to his entourage that he is very keen on the possibility of staying permanently in Spain.
The player is reportedly willing to do his part to smooth negotiations between the two clubs, convinced that Sevilla currently represents the ideal environment for his sporting and personal growth.
The ball is now in Newcastle's court, as they no longer are counting on the goalkeeper but, at the same time, aim to recoup part of the €23.5m they invested in his signing from Nottingham Forest in 2024.
