Sergi, while admitting Vini Jr is a big talent, insists the Brazil international's antics and behaviour set a poor example for children.
The former Barca wing-back told Marca: " He's a great player.
"But as someone who watches him... I think his behaviour isn't a good example for children.
"For young people, seeing Vinicius, with his talent and being an expert in his field, isn't a positive thing for the future of children's soccer..."
Meanwhile, on Barca's clash with Villarreal in Miami being canceled this week, Sergi added: “Well, other matches are already played outside of Spain, like the Super Cup.
"In the end, as the Rayo coach (Inigo Perez) said, you're in a circus and you have to decide whether to step aside or become part of it.
"If you step aside, it's your choice; if you stay, you have to accept certain things.”
