Barcelona chief Deco planning late swoop for Villarreal whizkid

The Cameroon youngster has been identified by Barca sports chief Deco and a move is being lined up this week.

Barca can snap up Etta Eyong for €10m courtesy of a buyout clause in his deal, says Sport.

Deco is aiming to sign the striker then loan him to a LaLiga rival so to avoid transgressing LaLiga financial controls.

Etta Eyong, 21, has already been making a name for himself in the first few weeks of the season: a starter in the first two La Liga matches for the Yellow Submarine, he's scored a goal and provided an assist, contributing to Marcelino's team's two wins.
