Pinnock: Brentford players knew we couldn't take Macclesfield lightly

The Bees are into the fifth round after a 1-0 win courtesy of a Sam Heathcote own goal. They will now face West Ham in the next round.

Pinnock said afterwards: "We knew it was going to be difficult coming into it.

"I’ve experienced the FA Cup and I know that when you come to these places it’s never easy. The fans are close to the ground and we knew the energy would be high from them.

"We made sure we came into the game professionally and doing our jobs properly."
