Eintracht Frankfurt veteran Gotze: Liverpool corners hurt us

After going ahead, Eintracht Frankfurt were beaten 5-1 on Wednesday night.

Gotze said afterwards: "It's just a 90-minute game where you have to be there, where little things make the difference.

"I mean, they played such a sensational counterattack, then you get two corner goals before half-time, and then the momentum is gone a bit, and then of course it's super difficult to come back.

"The fans always have a good sense of the situation. They are always there when you need them. Always there, even in difficult times or now, when we are losing games."
