Brighton to try again for FC Koln winger El Mala

Brighton had an offer of €30m for El Mala rejected by Koln during the winter market.

BILD says Brighton could make another move for El Mala ahead of the summer market. Indeed, the Seagulls are pushing for a quick decision from Koln about the player's availability.

While he has a deal with Koln to 2030, the Bundesliga club know El Mala is unsettled and keen to explore his options over the summer.

For his part, Koln coach Lukas Kwasniok is working on El Mala about staying another year under his tutelage before leaving for a bigger stage in 2027.
