Real Madrid is reportedly considering ending Reinier Jesus’s contract. Signed for €30 million in 2020, the Brazilian midfielder has yet to make a first-team appearance in five years.

With no clubs showing interest and no place in the squad, he may be released soon to seek new opportunities before his deal expires in 2026, according to Spanish publication AS.

The 23-year-old has been loaned out to Borussia Dortmund, Girona, Frosinone, and Granada without making a significant impact.

Reinier was once regarded as one of Brazil’s most promising talents, leading Madrid to invest in him at just 18 years old.

Despite the high expectations, he never gained the confidence of any Real Madrid manager and remained on the sidelines for most of his time at the club.

Even under Xabi Alonso’s coaching staff, he has no clear role, with the Spanish coach reportedly wanting to offload the Brazilian this summer.
