The star will remain in New Jersey to continue physiotherapy for a calf injury.

The friendly against Egypt is Brazil's final warm-up test before the World Cup kicks off.

The big question now is whether the player will recover in time for the group stage of the tournament. There is a lot of hope and an internal plan for Neymar to return to training as early as next week.

Even so, the medical staff of Brazil remains cautious: there is still no official date for his return to the pitch.
