TRIBAL TRENDS - TOP 5: Chelsea and Conte continue feud; Liverpool insulted by Barca bid for Coutinho; Real Madrid captain Ramos blocks Hazard move

It's that time of week again where we look back over the past seven days and check out what articles Tribal readers have fancied the most.

Overall, we've got stories about all the major clubs including Chelsea, Liverpool and Real Madrid.

Liverpool have named their new asking price for Barcelona target Philippe Coutinho.

According to Daily Record and Sunday Times journalist Duncan Castles, the Reds will only accept an offer of €150m.

Castles claims that Liverpool have only publicly announced the rejection of one bid worth €80m, but in reality, they have been negotiating with Barca and informing them of their desired fee.

Coutinho has yet to return to the Liverpool squad, with the club saying he has an injured back. Nevertheless, the Brazilian will remain on Merseyside if a deal does not get done within the next week or so.

The tension is growing between Antonio Conte and the Chelsea board, according to reports in French publication Le 10 Sport.

The Blues hierarchy are reportedly becoming annoyed with the Italian's constant complaints about the lack of players being brought to the club.

Chelsea have brought in Tiemoue Bakayoko, Antonio Rudiger and Alvaro Morata, but Conte, who is not in charge of transfer decisions or negotiations, is unhappy with the quality of the signings.

Conte only signed a new contract last month, but it seems his previous terms were not his only concern.

You didn't think that was going to be the only Coutinho story popular this week did you?

The Mirror reports that Liverpool have rejected a third bid from Barcelona.

The Reds are furious with the offer, which contains a number of improbable targets to trigger further payments.

The offer totals £119m, but…

Only £80m of that is guaranteed, and that will be staggered over five years.

Then, Coutinho would have to win multiple trophies in the same season, win multiple Champions League titles, win the Ballon d'Or, win multiple trophies and the Ballon D'Or in the same season, for the full fee to be given to Liverpool.

Yeah good decision FSG…

Over to Spain and Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has urged president Florentino Perez not sign a particular Chelsea star.

According to Diario Sport, the Spaniard believes the acquisition of Eden Hazard would disrupt the progress of his young compatriots, Isco and Marco Asensio.

Hazard has been a long-term target for Real, with manager Zinedine Zidane and Perez both keen on bringing the Belgian to the Bernabeu.

But Ramos has thrown his weight around and decided to tried to put a stop to the move for the sake of his current teammates.

And finally, Arsenal have approached Real Madrid about a deal for Asensio.

The 21-year old has lit up the season so far for Los Blancos, scoring two wonder goals in across both legs of Real's Supercopa victory over Barcelona.

And according to Don Balon, the Gunners are ready to meet the Spaniard's release clause, believed to be worth €80m. Bargain!
