Real Madrid players are stunned by the form of Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes.

The Portugal international was handed a chance in the second-leg of the Supercopa de Espana, but struggled to make an impression.

Diario Sport says Gomes' performance stunned his opposition, with Real players commenting amongst themselves surprise at how far the midfielder has fallen from the star he was with Valencia.

Last summer, Real did consider Gomes before he joined Barca and he was actively discussed inside the Merengues locker room. But after this week's showing, Real players are amazed by how poor his form now is.

"How bad is he?" was the general chat after Real lifted the Supercopa.
