Man City spend $1M-plus for US super junior

Manchester City are spending big to sign Philadelphia Union junior player Cavan Sullivan.

The 14-year-old has played for Philadelphia Union's reserve team in MLS Next Pro, which is the third American league.

Sullivan has an agreement with City, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

City also have a deal in place with Philadelphia Union over a fee worth more than $1m plus bonuses.

All documents have been signed, according to Romano and Sullivan will move to England when he turns 18.
