West Ham board make sack call for underfire manager Moyes

West Ham are steadfast in their support of manager David Moyes.

The Daily Mail says West Ham have no intention of sacking Moyes despite the club's 4-0 evisceration at Brighton.

The Hammers were plunged further into danger as Roberto De Zerbi's side tore them apart on a chastening afternoon on the south coast, though the result has had no bearing on the future of Moyes.

Goals from Alexis Mac Allister, Joel Veltmann, Kaoru Mitoma and Danny Welbeck delivered the three points for Brighton, who were back to winning ways after a couple of games without victory.

The dire result - and performance - saw West Ham dragged further into the relegation scrap as Moyes' side are increasingly forced to look over their shoulder.

However, the Hammers' rather shambolic league placing - at present - has left the owners, including David Sullivan, unperturbed as they back Moyes to haul the team from the rut they currently find themselves within.
