Man Utd hit by summer transfer budget concerns

Manchester United may be limited to a net transfer budget of £100 million this summer.

The Red Devils are in trouble with the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules.

According to ESPN, they will have the ability to spend more if they can sell players.

The club have been focusing on assembling a behind the scenes team, including staff members Omar Berrada, Dan Ashworth (not yet hired) and Jason Wilcox.

John Murtough and Richard Arnold have gone, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS now in charge.

The new ownership will have to get creative if they are to make big money signings this summer.
