Star midfielders Bastian Schweinsteiger and Mark van Bommel have admitted they are hungry for success following the Champions League semi-final triumph with Bayern Munich.

The German club booked their place in the final to be played on May 22 in Madrid and both midfielders were delighted after the win over Lyon and looking for more success.

"The final is great for the whole club. We are a good team with a great character. It's nice to play in this team. Things are looking good, but we haven't won anything yet," Schweinsteiger told the club's official website.

van Bommel added: "I am proud of this team and what we have achieved tonight. That was a super performance. We have a really good team and we believe in ourselves. We are all very hungry [for success]."
