Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has claimed that Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy are currently on the same level as Sergio Aguero.

Vardy and Kane are currently the Premier League's top two goalscorers with 18 and 15 goals respectively while Manchester City's Aguero has managed 13 goals in an injury-interrupted season.

The Argentine has been the premium striker in the competition over the last few years but Pochettino suggests perhaps Spurs star Kane and Foxes favourite Vardy are closing in.

Pochettino said: "Today, I think Vardy and Kane are showing the same qualities as Aguero.

"They are all different, they come from different circumstances but today if we speak about Vardy or Kane are in the same level as Aguero."
