Newcastle United says they're proud of their kit partnership with Castore.

The British-owned and run sportswear company has been criticised and attacked by local English media for their kit design of Aston Villa.

But in contrast, Newcastle insist they're proud to be working with Castore.

They said: "The club has found the quality of Castore products to be extremely high.

"We are proud to be wearing Castore's well-designed, innovative training and match kits and are appreciative of Castore's support and contribution to the club's trajectory over the last three seasons."
