Rummenigge: Bayern Munich good enough to win at Real Madrid

Former Bayern Munich chief exec Karl-Heinz Rummenigge insists they can win at Real Madrid last night.

Real host the second-leg of their Champions League semifinal with the score locked at 2-2.

Rummenigge told AS: "I know what awaits us because I have experienced it many times, both during my time as a player and during my time on the board of directors.

"Surviving the Bernabéu is complicated. But getting to the final is possible, we can beat Real Madrid. Leipzig has demonstrated this over the last 16 years and my friend Pep Guardiola also recently demonstrated that problems can be created for Real Madrid at the Bernabéu.

"It helps us that goals scored away from home no longer have double value, so we start again from 0-0. I have faith in the Champions League version that Bayern has shown throughout the season."
