Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe says they'll be up for tomorrow's clash with Brentford.
Newcastle broke up for international week with defeat at Brighton.
Howe said: “My preference would always be to play again after disappointing result. It wasn't to be. We have come back and worked well with about 12 players left with us. Lads have been good, training good, they are ready for next game."
Newcastle meet AC Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday and Howe also said: “Only focus for me is trying to beat Brentford. Milan take priority once the game is over.
“I think we'll deal with the excitement, a slightly longer flight than normal in England. We've dealt with all kinds of things thrown at us. I'm very reluctant to talk about Milan at all today. All our energy and I want players' focus to be on tomorrow."
