Napoli star Marek Hamsik has been mugged at gunpoint.

Sportmediaset says the incident occurred after Napoli's 0-0 draw with Sampdoria.

Hamsik was driving to the airport to pick up his wife when the vehicle was blocked off by two individuals.

They smashed the window and pointed a gun in his face, forcing him to hand over his watch.

It's reported Hamsik is unharmed, but understandably shaken by the incident.
