Manchester City midfielder Mateo Kovacic paid tribute to Erling Haaland last night.

The Norway forward was at his very best in a 6-2 win over Luton Town in the FA Cup fifth round.

Kovacic lavished praise on Halaand after his five goals secured them a quarter-final spot.

“Incredible. Incredible. Five goals in a game is unbelievable," said Kovacic after the game.

“His mentality is to score goals and to be there fighting. Today I think his overall game was amazing. Not just the goals.

“He's a player that you love and enjoy to have in your team."
