Manchester City defender Ruben Dias says Portugal's players are happy Cristiano Ronaldo spoke to the media yesterday.

Ronaldo addressed the press about his controversial interview and accusations made against his club, Manchester United.

Dias said this morning: “It was important that he came here to speak, like everyone else. It is part of the process. It was touching him. In no way has the Cristiano issue affected our peace of mind and our work.

"I don't think there is much more to say.

“As I said, the subject has already been discussed enough. It is a topic that was closed from the beginning. There is nothing more to do."
