Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has laughed off claims he has declared Roberto de Zerbi will be his successor.
Guardiola is said to have declared the Brighton manager his successor in front Seagulls players in May last season.
Asked about the reports, the manager said: "Are you going to fire me?
"I don't remember saying that, but maybe I have a bad memory.
"I feel convinced that Roberto can coach any team in the world. I have no doubt at all."
