Man City boss Guardiola takes swipe at celebrating Arsenal

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola aimed a potential dig at Arsenal after his team were beaten in the Community Shield.

Similar to the last two seasons, City lost the traditional curtain raiser of the English football season.

After drawing 1-1 in normal time, City were beaten on penalties by the Gunners on Sunday.

Cole Palmer had given City a late lead in the game, but Leandro Trossard's deflected shot equalized for the Gunners in the 11th minute of stoppage time.

During his post-game press conference, Guardiola stated: "We lost three [Community Shields] in a row! Do you know why? We won three Premier Leagues!"

The Citizens went on to win the treble last season, which included the Premier League, Champions League, and FA Cup.
