Hugo Lloris has said his farewell to Tottenham as he prepares to sign with LAFC.

The World Cup winner is due in Los Angeles to complete his move to the MLS club.

He said in a video on Tottenham's website: "This is a personal message for all Tottenham fans. I just wanted to thank you for your support since day one. It has been a great privilege to have been one of you but also your captain for years.

"We have reached the end of an important chapter, but you will always be in my heart, until the end of my life. Tottenham will always be a special place for me and my family.

"Also on their behalf I wanted to thank you for all the memories we shared together, all the emotions we felt. I would like to wish you all the best for the next decade because you deserve it."
