Inter Milan's Mancini winks at Man City ace Toure

Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini has hinted at a possible future move for Yaya Toure.

The Ivory Coast international continues to be linked with a Manchester City departure despite being under contract with the Premier League champions until the summer of 2017.

Mancini and star midfielder Toure worked closely together at the Etihad Stadium between 2009 and 2013 and the Italian has indicated that he could pursue a potential reunion with the former Beveren, Metalurgh Donetsk, Olympiakos, Monaco and Barcelona man.

"Yaya is one of the strongest players in the world," Mancini told Italian newspaper Il Giornale. "He still is.

"He has played in so many teams. He has been in leagues in Belgium, Russia, Spain and England. Italy is the one missing. This could be the right opportunity for him to come and try.

"We are building a team. There are players that change the look of a team, and Yaya is one of them.

"Next year we could try. We need to bring three champions, and we will see that we will be ready to fight for the Scudetto."

Toure is currently in Equatorial Guinea with the Ivory Coast side preparing for this weekend's African Cup of Nations quarter-final against Algeria in Malabo.
