Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe has a challenge for his players as the season continues.
The Magpies and other club sides have a short international break to get through before the Premier League resumes.
Going into the break on the back of a 2-0 loss to Bournemouth is not easy, but Howe believes his players will respond in kind when the season gets back underway.
Per Chronicle Live, he said: "The challenge for us - when we are fatigued and stretched - is to respond better.
"There were lessons to learn. First we have to dust ourselves down and take what has happened. Then we regroup and come back stronger."
Howe added on captain Jamaal Lascelles: "Jamaal has done well aerially. He's been a mountain for us at the back.
“But I don't think there have been too many bright spots for us at Bournemouth. It was a sign which showed we were well off."
