Fulham boss Lawrie Sanchez is set to make an improved £3 million bid for Southampton fullback Chris Baird.
Sanchez's £2.5m offer for the Northern Ireland defender last week was laughed off by Burley as "derisory".
But Baird has revealed he wants to leave Saints to rejoin his ex-international boss at Fulham.
