Released West Ham striker Jonathan Calleri wants to stay in Europe next season.

Currently contracted to Deportivo Maldonado, Calleri didn't do enough to warrant a permanent deal with the Irons.

However, the Argentine is now interesting Spain's Las Palmas - which he has welcomed.

"I want to continue playing in Europe and make a career there," said Calleri.

"This has always been my dream since childhood."
