Everton boss Roberto Martinez hopes their trip to Tenerife will accelerate Ross Barkley's recovery.
The midfielder is battling a foot injury.
"With Ross being such a young man, and taking him away to the warm weather, I think it will heal a lot quicker - maybe three weeks," said Martinez.
