Empoli president Fabrizio Corsi remains disappointed selling Guglielmo Vicario to Tottenham.

Vicario has been superb for Spurs in his first season in England.

Corsi has made it no secret he wanted to see Vicario move to a bigger Serie A club.

He recalled to Radio Kiss Kiss: "The disappointment is not to see him with an Italian team fighting for the Scudetto.

"I think Inter are eating their hands a bit, but they had the problem of selling (Andre) Onana first and Tottenham moved first."
