Empoli coach Paolo Zanetti has no doubts about the future of Guglielmo Vicario at Tottenham.

The goalkeeper was sold by Empoli to Spurs last week.

Zanetti told Sky Italia: "Vicario is ready for a big deal, he would have been the perfect goalkeeper for Inter.

"I think it was a matter of timing, a very important offer arrived from the best league in the world and he went where he deserves. He is extremely talented and also has immense human qualities.

"In my opinion, Tottenham will not be a point of arrival for him, but a starting point."
