Out-of-contract Motherwell striker Ross McCormack could be set for a shock move to Celtic, says the Scottish Sun.

The 21-year-old looked to be destined for the Premiership with both Wigan and Middlesbrough vying for the player's signature.

However, a move to Celtic Park could be on the cards should Gordon Strachan follow up his initial interest in the ex-Rangers player. If McCormack does stay in Scotland, Motherwell will receive compensation under FIFA rules.
