Atletico Madrid striker Diego Forlan is keen on a move to Tottenham.
The Daily Mail says Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is not keen on investing in the over 30s - especially when they cost £10million - but Forlan would still give good service and bring in greater revenue with the success he could prompt.
The player is willing to come to England but is on big money at around £85,000 a week tax free.
He is willing to take a pay cut but would want a longer contract to compensate.
Atletico need to sell - as Miguel Angel Gil's advert for Sergio Aguero indicates - and the time could be right for Tottenham to drive a bargain - or otherwise look for younger targets.
