Wellington Phoenix midfielder Oscar Roberto Cornejo, better known as Toto, will make his A-League debut tomorrow night.

Phoenix coach Ricki Herbert basically confirmed that the Argentine recruit will come on at some stage in the New Zealand's opening clash against Gold Coast United at Westpac Stadium.

"Toto has done really well. I think he's settled in really well," Herbert said.

"He's progressing nicely every day. I think we'd use him at some stage [on Friday]."
