Alf-Inge admits two Danish clubs almost signed Man City striker Haaland

The father of Manchester City striker Erling Haaland says FC Copenhagen weren't the only Danish club interested in his son.

It's emerged Haaland trained with FCK in 2017 before signing for Molde.

Alf-Inge recalled to ViaPlay: "We were here and Erling was training with FCK. Both Brøndby and FCK were interested, and it was very good for us to come down and see the conditions.

"Maybe it wouldn't have been relevant no matter what.

"He switched to Molde, which had (Ole Gunnar) Solskjær as coach, and it was a very good choice."
