Al Nassr chief Salazar: Bayern Munich must ask themselves why Mane didn't work out

Al Nassr sports chief Marcelo Salazar has taken aim at Bayern Munich.

Salazar admits Al Nassr are delighted with the impact of former Liverpool striker Sadio Mane. The Senegal ace left Bayern for Al Nassr this summer after just one season in Germany.

Salazar told Tz: "If things didn't go as expected at FC Bayern, there are reasons for it. The people of Munich have to ask themselves why Mané wasn't able to show his best level at the club.

"The player has to do that too. There are always two sides."

Salazar added: “He's happy. He has accepted the new challenge. He's a guy who smiles a lot."
