Premier League giants Tottenham are stepping up their pursuit of Micky van de Ven.
The Wolfsburg defender is the subject of serious interest from the North London club this summer.
Per Fabrizio Romano, Spurs have made a verbal proposal to Wolfsburg to secure the centre-back.
With Liverpool also interested, the player's agent Jose Fortes Rodriguez gave the following update to German outlet Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung:
“We have to talk to VfL first. I think Tottenham would be a good move for Micky. But there is no agreement."
Edmond Tapsoba at Bayer Leverkusen, Fulham's Tosin Adarabioyo and former Barcelona loanee Clement Lenglet are also Spurs targets.
