TRIBAL TRENDS - TRANSFERS: Atletico ready for Griezmann exit; Man Utd's Roberto plan; Alexis to... Chelsea?; Pogba to Everton?;

With the amount of rumours swirling around at this time of year, even after the summer transfer window, it is sometimes difficult to decipher the truth.

These are matters of importance.

With all the transfer talk now directed at the January winter market, there are still enormous amounts of speculation swirling around Europe and the UK.

Not to worry however, because here at Tribalfootball, we have broken down the week's hottest transfer rumours, and inform you whether you should believe the paper talk or not.

Antoine Griezmann -Atletico Madrid

Clubs interested: Manchester United

Better get used to seeing Antoine Griezmann to Manchester United in Tribal Trends from every week till January; which is when Atletico Madrid's transfer ban is uplifted.

This week, Don Balonreport that Atleti boss Diego Simeone is ready to part ways with the striker. The Argentine has had enough of Griezmann having hooked him during his side's stalemate against Leganes last weekend.

When the new year rolls around, Diego Costa will finally be able to play for Los Rojiblancos. The Spain international has completed a move to the La Liga club, but as we've talked about, the transfer is blocked from becoming official until January.

Part of the reason the Frenchman gave up on a move to the Red Devils this summer was because Atleti wouldn't be able to replace him. After Costa' s arrival, that is no longer a problem.

Bet your bottom dollar that if United are behind Man City or Chelsea come Christmas time, United will trigger Griezmann's €100m one minute into the new year.

Likelihood: Will it ever end?

Naby Keita - RB Leipzig

Clubs interested: Liverpool

In exciting news for Liverpool fans, BILD has reported that RB Leipzig might be willing to part with Naby Keita in January.

The Reds already have a deal in place for Keita to arrive at Anfield next season.

But should Leipzig be knocked out of the Champions League before Christmas, management sees know reason of holding onto him.

Jurgen Klopp's side could certainly use the Guinean's energy in the second half of the season.

With the German club currently lying at bottom of Group G after two matches, Reds fans will have their fingers crossed that they continue their poor display.

Likelihood: Lose! Lose! Lose!

Alexis Sanchez - Arsenal

Clubs interested: Chelsea

It has always been Manchester City linked with Alexis Sanchez.

But now theMirrorreports that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has given the green light to try and sign the Chilean.

Although Chelsea are lacking options with Alvaro Morata sidelined with a hamstring injury, it's just hard to envisage Sanchez playing under the authoritative, tactically strict Antonio Conte.

Once Morata returns to the fold, which won't be long by all accounts, Sanchez would be supplemented by the younger Spanish forward. Next.

Likelihood: Nada

Sergio Roberto - Barcelona

Clubs interested: Manchester United

Manchester United are busy lining up a winter move for Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto.

According to once again, Don Balon, the Red Devils are ready to revive their interest in the Spaniard. Along with Chelsea and Manchester City, United tried to sign the 25-year-old in the summer, but Roberto was reluctant to make the switch.

After showing his versatility by filling in at right-back for the Blaugrana last season, Roberto is available for a measly €40m.

That's incredibly cheap given the current market. If Roberto is keen on a move, this could definitely happen.

Likelihood: It's all on him

Florentin Pogba - St Etienne

Clubs interested: Everton, RB Leipzig

According to L'Equipe, another Pogba wants to move to the Premier League,

Paul's brother, Florentin, currently with Ligue 1 club St Etienne, wants to be closer to his sibling. Everton and RB Leipzig are both linked with the centre-back.

With Ramiro Funes-Mori out for a significant period of the season, Toffees boss Ronald Koeman tried and failed to sign a centre-back in the summer.

Florentin will cost Everton at lot, lot, lot, lot, lot less than what Paul cost Manchester United. With the amount of money Everton spent in the summer - which has currently proved to be a waste - a nice, shrewd buy is needed and Pogba represents just that.

Likelihood: There's every possibility
