Red Bull Leipzig have not ruled out sending Naby Keita to Liverpool in January.
A deal is in place for the Guinea midfielder to join Liverpool next summer, however it's been floated on Merseyside that the arrangement could be brought forward to the winter market this season.
BILD says RBL have not heard from Liverpool - as yet - over such plans, but the door is open to enacting the move.
Should RBL be bounced out of the Champions League before Christmas, there would be little reason for management to keep hold of a player whose future lay elsewhere.
As such, the prospect of sending Keita to Liverpool to complete the original €75m deal has not been ruled out.
